It’s official, I have moved on from the 330th RCS (SW recruiting mission) to the 342 RCS (Officer Accessions recruiting). I will no longer be looking for individuals interested in jumping out of planes but instead looking for pilots, engineers, doctors, nurses, dentists, and all other officer positions the USAF is looking for. It’s a bittersweet transition but I am looking forward to the new challenge. 🇺🇸🤙🏼

The best part about serving the 330th RCS for me has been 100% when one of my past Candidates reaches out and or sends a picture of them completing big steps in their careers along the way. 🤙🏼🇺🇸

As my time here on this assignment slowly ticks down, these will be the times I remember the most. Working with the young athletes in the community is a blast. Thank you Constantine HS for having us out. 🤙🏼 .

In honor of Black History Month, I wanted to recognize some special Airmen known as the Tuskegee Airmen AKA the Red Tails who flew in WWII. There is some history/roots in the state of Michigan if you look hard enough. When driving on I-75 crossing into Michigan from Ohio I bet you never noticed a sign that reads “Tuskegee Airmen Memorial Highway” five miles into MI. There is also a second sign five miles from the Canadian border. The Tuskegee Airmen paved the way for equality in the U.S military even when faced with great adversity and resistance.

People – not equipment – make the critical difference. The right people, highly trained and working as a team, will accomplish the mission with the equipment available. On the other hand, the best equipment in the world cannot compensate for a lack of the right people.

Crazy that this was 11 years ago for me and this young team. We hit at least 8 different countries. 🇺🇸🇺🇸 I had a hell of a 21st birthday in Iraq drinking lots of water and Gatorade 🍻. Good times! 🦅🤙🏼🇺🇸.
