Well, it is that time of year again. BEAR IS OFFICIALLY 2!!! It is really difficult to describe another year of service to an amazing community. I think the biggest one for me is humility. If I am being honest with myself, this year was more difficult than year 1. There was a lot of growing pains that we had to work through and I know there is more of that to come. Even though I have been in the coffee world for 17 years, I am still a newbie when it comes to owning and operating a shop and I still have so much to learn. However I will say, Bear truly has become what I dreamed for so long. A home. We bring our kids here and they jump at the opportunity to take orders and make drinks. Our little guy has definitely made his presence known in the best of ways. Chelsea is just flat out amazing and has loved me through it all and jumps behind bar when needed even when she has her own career. (Bad Ass Mama). Our staff still comes to work despite my flaws and I am so grateful. Bear exists most importantly because of YOU. You are what makes Bear come to life. You are our family. Cheers to another year and many more to come.
