So, I listen to a ⚽️ podcast called, Men In Blazers, and they had a live show in Kansas City last Sunday. We all went to the show and had front row seats. Our oldest son took a poster board sign to the head (after it was thrown off the stage by the host, Roger Bennett), but our daughter scooped it up so we ended up taking home a piece of the show (memorabilia) afterwards. A fun night for all fútbol fans and listeners of the show … I had an awesome time, but the family enjoyed the IHOP late night meal the best!

So … this is apparently a real thing? 💁🏻‍♂️ Use a buttery round cracker (think Ritz) and a white sheet of paper. With your back toward the sun, hold the cracker up to the paper. Your eyes should be looking away from the sun, which is what’s required for safe, indirect viewing, experts say. The solar eclipse will filter through the tiny cracker holes. Tip: If you don’t have a Ritz cracker, a Saltine cracker works just as well. ⚫️🤷🏻‍♂️👁️🩸

In town for a parade or something ☘️, but had to check out the new Pizza Shuttle location! Miss the college vibes from the OG spot, but the za was still the 💣! 6 slices down in 300 seconds or less. 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕

Decided to try a Team Wilpers cycling challenge for the first time, at the beginning of this year, to help me work towards my fitness goals. I completed the 8-wk Winter Training Program from 1-1-24 to 2-25-24 which included 5 rides/wk (moderate level) on the Peloton with 3 days of strength work as well. I learned about TSS (Training Stress Score) as I worked to improve my FTP (Functional Threshold Power). The program works through progressive overload to help grow your VO2 max and anaerobic capacity. In the end, my FTP did improved, but I missed my PR by 14 kg (total output) & 11 watts (avg output). It was fargin tough, but I survived and have now jumped in their next 8-wk program: TW Preseason 🚴🏼‍♂️ Challenge. Looking forward to continued endurance & strength improvements through the work (3-4-24 to 4-28-24).

Ready for a Saturdaze where it all works out … 2 bookend ⚽️ matches while sandwiched in between are 3 🥎 & 2 ⚾️ games. From Olathe to Lee’s Summit to Lenexa and back to Olathe … divide an conquer (8AM-6:45PM)! Let’s go multi-kid sport families!!! 🍻
