"How often should I be washing my hair?" This is a question I get asked often!

I have long, thick, "puffy" hair. Anyone who knows me knows that I cleanse my scalp on average about every 8-10 days. Here are some reasons why:

• Although I workout daily, I do not sweat very much at all. Therefore, I rarely need to use a dry shampoo. (I have product recommendations for you if you need one / like that sort of thing!)
• Shampoo, heat tools (especially!), outside environment, daily styling; all damage hair. These things also affect the color, which I'd like to preserve as long as possible. The more often hair is washed, the more likely it is for the color to fade faster. The integrity of hair is lessened, especially by heat!
• Shampooing & styling my hair takes a long time since it is thick and long. I have to plan for the time to do it, and even then, I don't end up having time. I generally like to shampoo in the evenings, so I can braid it to dry wavy overnight. (Less heat styling! 😉)

Ok, so you sweat more than me. You have thin or fine hair. No worries! I've got tools in my arsenal to help be the perfect remedy!
