Next, a thin layer of fiberglass is placed on top of the plaster, where it's molded by hand. You'll never guess what they used to use in the old days...!
...and now with this little trick, we're able to attach the crown molding to the wall after it's dry 👍
A unique hammering technique enables the goop to set into the mold better so that we achieve the best outcome possible for these crown molding pieces!
Here's where our Artisan Craftsmen come on board...pouring the goop into the mold to make the one-of-a-kind new crown molding! These are the only guys in KC who do this!
