No one at any age deserves to get cancer, but when a cancer targets toddlers, it turns our world inside out.

The average age children are diagnosed with Neuroblastoma is 22 months (before most have even been potty trained).

It’s the most common cancer in infants, affecting almost twice as many babies as leukemia.

If you are a female and do any amount of exercise you need to read one or both of these books asap. ROAR is more relevant to my gals under 40. If you are 40 or above check out Next Level. Stacy Sims is a brilliant exercise physiologist and debunks common myths and misconceptions about the appropriate way you should be eating and training as a female (which does change a bit as we age) to grow STRONG and age gracefully. DM me with any questions or if you want to go for a walk to dialogue after you read (for my local folks). Some big main points and takeaways:

1. If you are an active female intermittent fasting is NOT for you and will do you no favors in regard to your health.

2. Strength training. That’s all folks. It’s one of the keys to longevity, and most importantly, health and quality of life as we age. Did you known you start losing lean muscle mass after age 30?? My guess is that’s most of you reading this post….so what are you going to do about that! πŸ˜‰. Did you know it’s even worse for females going through menopause and those post menopause due to estrogen loss.

3. Jumping- it’s a must along with strength training for healthy bones if you want to avoid osteoporosis and a nasty fracture.

4. Appropriate fueling - what does this mean….it means you need to eat ladies! The nuance of this is better discussed in person but the days of over exercising and starving yourself are gone and will actually cause more pesky belly fat! Yikes!!!
