BVNW Husky Football

Two years ago Gabe Peterson was the Sports in Kansas 6A DPOY & S*K Top 11 selection for Clint Rider’s 6A state champion Blue Valley Northwest squad. He had minimal D1 interest out of HS outside of NMSU. Today he led New Mexico State in tackles with six in the 31–10 road win over Auburn out of the SEC. Also had a sack and 2 TFLs. Aggies with a Kansas heavy coaching staff & are 9-3 on the year. Bowl eligible in back to back seasons for first time since 1960 and first time since 1960 with nine wins.

Our hearts are with the Harms family after the passing of Coach Steve Harms. Coach Harms started the football program here at BVNW & quickly built a powerhouse built on discipline & attention to detail. He was inducted in the BVNW Athletic Hall of Fame for his incredible tenure as head coach and athletic director. More importantly, he was deeply loved & respected by all who knew him. 💜
