The decision to change ownership of the business is always taken very seriously, and we apologize that the events of this acquisition have caused distress for both our guests and the former franchise owner’s employees. As the Oviedo cafe was locally owned and operated, our ability to communicate directly with the franchisee’s employees was limited. Nonetheless, the transition has not reflected the values of our company, and we have implemented additional communication protocols for our franchisees to prevent situations like this in the future.

Our employees are the heart and soul of our restaurants, and we value them deeply. Their contributions have been invaluable to our success. We are working to keep as many eligible team members as possible during the transition and will continue to hold interviews for those who were unable to attend the last round. We hope that we will have the chance to welcome you back to support the staff members you've come to know and love who remain at our Oviedo cafe.
