We had a great day golf scrambling today! We had to divide and conquer. Amber volunteered at the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce Golf Scramble with her other fellow Ambassadors shuttling people around, serving food, drinks and had lots of snacks. 😉 We didn't get a picture of our team at the OPD D.A.R.E. Golf Scramble, but fun was had by all!

Since some schools started later than we thought, such as this week, we have moved the drawing to be THIS Friday, August 23rd. Also, don't forget to post those first day of college pictures! First day of school pictures for parents count too! 😉

🏫 It's almost time for back to school! 🥳🤓📚
Are you ready? Are the kids ready? Some schools make it easy these days where you can purchase school supplies from the school and they will be delivered to your child's classroom. Whoever thought of that is super smart! 🤓 Along with our checklist to get the kids ready to go back to school, remember to make your own checklist to make sure that you and your home are ready as well.

👉 Make sure the thermostat is set. The thermostat temperature can fluctuate when the kids are home during the summer. A constant temperature is not only more cost effective, but it is also good to keep the humidity down in your home.
👉 Make sure all doors and windows are locked. More than likely there is more traffic in and out of your home during the summer and we get out of a routine. Making sure everything is secure may take a few extra minutes, so make sure you account for the time.
👉 Leave a few minutes early due to school traffic. Again, routines are usually different during the summer, whether you have kids in school or not. Buses stopping to pick up kids and stopping at railroad crossings can definitely put you behind.

🌞 It's a hot July day. This house has 🔥 fire damage from a few days ago. The house has been closed up and has had no 🔌 power for several days, which means no 🌬 airflow. 🔨🪓 Demo begins.

❓ Do we open the fridge and clean it out or just throw it away? 🤔 I bet it smells SO good in there! Who wants leftovers?!?
