Hello New Town Families! Yesterday our 5th grade students participated in their promotion to middle school ceremony. The smiles of excitement and joy were thrilling to see. The NTES PTA wishes continued success, determination and commitment in their journey through middle school. Each 5th grader left with a bag of goodies to enjoy and remember their time at New Town ES.

Greetings New Town High School PTSA Members,



We are extremely excited about tonight's PTSA meeting! As with all of our meetings, this is one you truly don’t want to miss. We will have Councilman Julian Jones, Delegate Jay Jalisi, District 4 School Board member Makeda Scott, and two representatives from Superintendent Dr. Darryl Williams' office. There are some town hall meetings that don’t have this level of local political talent gathered in one room! This meeting will provide an invaluable opportunity to engage stakeholders across the spectrum. Parents, teachers, and staff have reached out to us on multiple occasions with questions regarding how they can become more involved in securing the best opportunities for the students at New Town High School, as well as the community abroad. Many of our local officials, both through direct conversations with our PTSA Executive Board members and via their social engagement initiatives, have expressed similar questions. This meeting will provide us with the opportunity to connect both of those populations for a much needed, and meaningful, dialogue. We invite you to send questions, concerns, or successes that you’d like to see discussed or highlighted during the meeting. We look forward to seeing you all on November 11th at 7pm in the library located on the second floor.

Our first of quarterly PTA meetings is tomorrow, October 8th! We will have magnet school representatives from Sudbrook and Windsor Mill to speak about their programs and the process. Also, we will talk about upcoming events. Please come and join us!
