Irene has finished her Three Yard Quilt on her visit from Switzerland/France. She stated that she is one step closer to being an American.

The Hand Appliqué is coming soon on August 30th and 31st at Oxford Quilts. One of our MQA instructors, Brenda Oliver, will be here to teach us how to get sharp and crisp edges using the Appliquick tools. The class cost is $120 plus tools. You can choose the colors to match your decor or use your scraps and take the class as a technique learning class. Limited seats so sign up ASAP.

A BIG shout out to the ladies that helped move all the goods to our new location at 1306 N Lamar Blvd in Oxford, MS. They worked really had making my dream come true. I feel so special to have been showered by their dedication,and hard work and love. Also, I give thanks to Boss Movers for the heavy stuff and of course John Phillips my contractor that keep things running smooth.

Easter Events have passed and the Solar Eclipse is over but, we are still working on the store. It is getting closer for the floors are done and most of the electrical. I’m planning on the move to be Tuesday the 16th and opening on April 24th. Please help me stand firm on these days, I pray.

QuiltCon was in Raleigh this past weekend and I had an added bonus because I got to take my granddaughter and expose her to the quilting world. She really enjoyed the interactive activities.
