A huge thank you to Dr. Atul Dubey from USP for delivering an insightful seminar on "Advanced Manufacturing for Quality and Supply Chain Resilience Supported by USP Initiatives" as part of the PDD Special Seminar Series!
During the session, Dr. Dubey provided a comprehensive overview of USP's role in ensuring quality and resilience in the pharmaceutical supply chain. He highlighted the challenges faced by the industry and how USP's initiatives are addressing these challenges head-on. Dr. Dubey introduced USP and its pivotal role in setting quality standards for pharmaceutical products worldwide. He emphasized the critical importance of supply chain resilience, especially in light of recent global disruptions.
Attendees gained valuable insights into how USP is leveraging advanced manufacturing technologies, establishing control strategies, and providing technical guidance to enhance quality assurance and mitigate supply chain risks.

We were fortunate to have Rishi Thakkar, PhD from AbbVie as our second speaker in our PDD Special Seminar Series 2024/25. We appreciate Dr. Thakkar for providing invaluable insights to our students on general considerations for developing biological formulations while addressing critical formulation strategies and CMC challenges. We look forward to our next speaker later this month from USP.
Truly privileged and honored to host Prof. Paul Dalby from UCL Chemical Engineering, UCL, London as the first speaker of our PDD's Special Seminar Series 2024/25. This seminar on engineering was so insightful reflected by a huge turn-out and brain-provoking Q&A session. We look forward to continuing some of our discussions going forward.
