A UTI, or urinary tract infection, is an infection that affects any part of the urinary system, including the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra. It is commonly caused by bacteria, most often Escherichia coli (E. coli), and can lead to symptoms such as frequent and painful urination, a strong urge to urinate, cloudy or bloody urine, and discomfort in the pelvic area. UTIs are more common in women than men and are typically treated with antibiotics. Prompt diagnosis and treatment of UTIs are crucial to prevent complications. We are ready to help, any day of the week. Stop by any time to see what RedMed can do for you! Call or message us now at www.redmedclinic.com/oxford
Have wonderful holiday, everyone! We will be open Monday, on Memorial Day from 7 AM to Noon.
Eye infections can result from various causes, including bacteria, viruses, allergens, fungi, and foreign objects. Bacterial and viral infections like conjunctivitis spread through direct contact or respiratory droplets. Of course, practicing good hygiene, avoiding contact with irritants, and using proper eye protection are key for prevention, but we know that life happens, sometimes! We are ready to help, any day of the week. Stop by any time to see what RedMed can do for you! Call or message us now at www.redmedclinic.com/oxford

Moms. We just can’t say enough. We have them here with us. We meet new ones every day. And, we know just how special they are to each person to whom they gave life. THANK YOU . . . for everything. Be sure to tell mom you love her today!
So, just what is Athlete’s Foot? Athlete's foot, or tinea pedis, is a fungal infection primarily caused by dermatophyte fungi. These fungi thrive in warm, moist environments, such as locker rooms, showers, and swimming pools, where they can be easily transmitted from person to person or from contaminated surfaces. Athlete's foot symptoms include persistent itching, redness, scaling, and blistering between the toes or on the soles of the feet. Over-the-counter treatments can be effective for mild cases, while more severe infections may require prescription-strength medications. We see patients, often, with this ailment and are ready to help, any day of the week. Stop by any time to see what RedMed can do for you! Call or message us now at www.redmedclinic.com/oxford
We know a thing or two about nurses (we’re around them quite a bit!). And, with that understanding comes an appreciation that goes to the heart. Thank you to our RedMed nurses and all other nurses who are giving their best to help people heal and feel better everywhere. This nurses week, take time to tell a nurse in your circle of influence just how special they are!
Teachers! We can say, gratefully, that you are the backbone of our communities, workplaces and leadership. We LITERALLY couldn’t do what we do without your love and guidance. Thank you for a job always well done!

Sinus infections, or sinusitis, stem from inflammation or infection of the sinuses. Viruses, the primary culprits, often trigger sinusitis, akin to the common cold or flu. Bacterial infections, less common but notable, can complicate viral cases or arise from weakened immunity. Allergies to airborne particles, like pollen or dust, can inflame sinuses, as can nasal polyps, which obstruct sinus passages. We say all that to say . . . we’re here to help, 7 days a week! Stop by any time to see what RedMed can do for you! Call or message us now at www.redmedclinic.com/oxford
It’s Administrative Professionals Day! We want to take this chance to make a big deal about those in our office who keep things running smoothly each day. Most are super excited about this awesome weather. But, for some, all the new green foliage means something more sinister is creeping in. Don’t let rashes from Poison Ivy and other outdoor plants keep you miserable. We’re here to help 7 days a week! Questions? Head to www.redmedclinic.com/oxford and click our text bubble to start a conversation!
Pro Tip for exposure: Wash the affected area thoroughly with soap and water as soon as possible after exposure to remove any remaining plant oils that can cause a reaction. Oh yeah, and the hardest part of all - don’t scratch - that just makes the oils spread!
We hope you have a wonderful Easter holiday! We will be closed Easter Sunday but will be seeing patients during regular hours on Monday.
