We are hosting a glass drive for the residents of Oxford to drop off their glass for recycling. This event is a part of our Earth Month program and features a friendly competition with MSU where every piece of glass you recycle earns us points.
Let’s show our commitment to sustainability and keep those recycling bins full.

The Office of Sustainability has applications open for our Sustainability Communications Fellow - Graduate Assistantship! This position is a great opportunity for anyone interested in marketing, communications, creative studies and/or higher education sustainability. We welcome applicants from all disciplines; you must be a UM graduate student to apply.

Exciting news! We're hosting an Earth Month Raffle Challenge! To celebrate this special month, we have put together a list of events and activities that can earn you entries for a chance to win awesome prizes. With a variety of tasks to choose from, all you need is 25 points to earn your first raffle entry! The competition will run all throughout April, and the winner will be announced on May 1st. Intern Spotlight:
Taylor is our two-time Campus Relations intern for the Office of Sustainability. Thanks to her, our office now produces regular content informing our followers about all the great work we do, and she has created stronger partnerships across the campus and Oxford community! Did you know that our engagement has risen nearly 90% since she started here?!
Thank you, Taylor, for all of your hard work and dedication to our office network! You have left very large shoes to fill.
Intern Spotlight:
This semester Peyton has taken on the role of Campus Garden Intern for the office. Peyton is a hard working individual who has been instrumental in the transformation of the campus garden. We are so proud of all the work she has achieved this semester and we know she will go on to do great things! Thank you Peyton!

Intern Spotlight:
Allegra is another returning intern with the Office of Sustainability. This semester she returned to her pervious role as a Compost Collective Intern. Allegra helps run the compost program by collecting compost from different dining halls on campus. This semester she has helped organize compost sales and worksite cleanup events, helping ensure the longevity of the program. Thank you Allegra for all of your hard work!

Anuja is a two time intern for the Office of Sustainability. This semester she has taken on the role as a Green Grove Intern. Anuja has been a main organizer and contributor for Green Grove all semester, and we are so proud of all the work she has accomplished. Our last Green Grove event will be November 28th to sort the recycling collected during the Egg Bowl.

We love Green Grove and all of our amazing volunteers! Every home game Green Grove works to collect recycling and keep the grove clean. So far, we have collected over 1,000 pounds of recycling and we still have a few more games left. If you want to help make a difference, be sure to sign up to volunteer through our GivePulse ♻️🌳

First Green Grove Sorting Event ✅

Thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers who helped this last Monday. With their help we were able to sort through all the recycling collected at the grove during the Ole Miss vs Central Arkansas Game. If you are looking to get involved or need community service hours, we will be sorting every Monday from 1-3pm following home games!
