It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that our founder Peter Mullin, a renowned businessman, car collector and philanthropist, passed away earlier this week. In 2010, he built this institution to share his love for the Art Deco movement by way of his collection of French automobiles and art pieces. He cherished seeing people from near and far admire and appreciate these rolling sculptures. Thank you for supporting his dream; his legacy will live on through this incredible collection.

Are you familiar with the 1928 Lorraine-Dietrich Type B3-6? The Lorraine-Dietrich firm was the first marque to achieve back-to-back wins in the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans race. The sporty Type B3-6 swept the field. Marque wins at distance races and hill climbs defined the leaders of the automotive industry at the turn of the twentieth century. 🤩
1928 Citroën B14 Coupe - The unique paint job here is the design of Ukranian artist Sonia Delaunay, known with her husband Robert. She "often created fashions to go with her painted cars."

1932 Bugatti Type 55 | Jean Bugatti had designed several bodies prior to this, but the sweeping fenders are iconic Bugatti accentuated with a two-tone finish. He was 23 at the time.

Now Open at the Mullin Automotive Museum: "ArTexture" - The Automotive Art of Keith Collins
For over five decades, Keith Collins Keith Collins has crafted stunning paintings and tapestries exploring shapes, light, and color. As fans of the arts, the Mullin Automotive Museum is elated to host 20 art pieces influenced by the museum’s collection of exquisite automobiles.
Opening April 20, the museum's 1939 Delahaye Type 165 and 1935 Hispano-Suiza J12 Cabriolet's dramatically fashioned sheet metal will be on display alongside tapestries crafted by Collins’ various techniques in capturing color and shape.
Unique in so many ways, the 1939 Bugatti Type 64 Coupe never ceases to amaze! 🤩
