What year it’s been from rebuilding the downtown Ventura store, to leaving it and building up the Oxnard location. It’s been a year of ups and downs. Looking forward to a lot more bumps as I continue to learn, grow, and push forward. We are growing in areas that wasn’t possible in Ventura! Hopefully we can grow the areas that were already established in Ventura. If not we will adapt and morph as our community does.

Of course somethings won’t change, we always try to find ways to have fun in the shop. Events whether it’s gaming or live music will be apart of it. Geek pop culture will be at the forefront. We will support local artists no matter where from the f we can find a way to support we will!

One take away is dont build a massive piece inside the shop without any way of getting it out the doors, lol. I’m sad I had to let it go, after all it only was in use for a year. But bright side, it doesn’t work or fit in the new shop. Plus the new shop needs a new identity. Which we are slowly working on and asking our community to help with! Those details will be coming soon, so many things happening, doesn’t seem like there is ever enough lead time before the event happens we been planning months on. LFG to another year.

Saturday August 17th starting at 12pm we will have a SEALED PRE-Con Commander Tournament!! Sign up now either in store or with our eventbrite link in bio!

Decks will be given out at random and they are sealed product decks.

We got prizes for all that attend and the top four players will get even more prizes!

RIP

Really sad to hear about his passing. We lost a great local legend not just in the music but also comic book community. We had the fortunate opportunity to have him come out to the shop and do a signing event. We really wanted to showcase his comic and his music with our community, and we accomplished that. We will still be sharing his music with our community as his album will always be spinning at the shop.

Your presence and creative will be missed. It was an honor to meet you. Rest Peace Chino XL

Wondering what games happen on what days? Here’s our new gaming schedule!!

Tuesdays are Disney Lorcana nights! They start at 6pm and cost $10 to enter. Too 3 get prizes!

Wednesday is Yuigoh and Pokemon both starting at 7pm and cost $5 to enter and top 3 get prizes!
Plus Magic the Gathering meets for command night and other no additional cost!

Fridays we got Friday Night Magic with draft and commander going on! Commander is free just bring your deck and play. Draft cost $20 unless we draft a limited set or it’s pre-release.
We also have yuigoh going on as well! Which is a $5 entry with too 3 getting prizes!

Lastly Sunday during the afternoon we are doing Magic the Gathering commander! So bring those decks and play!

Lastly these are time we set aside in the evening mostly for these games but if you wanna come by in the afternoon and the tables aren’t in use, they are free tables to play in unless told otherwise. If there’s a group of at least 6 players and want to run a tournament, if we are able to we can run it for you. Just know you still have to pay the entrance fee. We are also looking to expand what games we will be playing and doing each day too so look forward to that as well!

Coming to the car show tomorrow that’s happening right in front of the shop? Doesn’t matter, you should come by and check out the shop!! We got all vending during the event!! Plus we got DJ DFP and bringing the vibes. Swing by while checking out some awesome cars!

We have officially moved to our new location in - let’s celebrate! 🎉 The extravaganza will start at noon when the shop opens, live music at 5. We are kicking off with a land acknowledgement!

Wanna elevate your bbq today or any day your grilling we recommend checking out our old neighbors ! They got some of the best olive oils in town! Great for cooking, grilling, and salads! Thats what we used when bbq in at our new shop!! Tell them we sent you!

We can’t believe it’s been a year since opened up in Ventura!! It was really great to have them as our neighbors!! I know our customers will miss you once we make the move later this month to Oxnard!

June 23rd is our last day as the mystery shop but beginning the 24th and through the 30th we will be acting as a pop up marketplace for local vendors and artists.

The will be popping off right down the street so this is a great way to showcase the creative community and to sell old goods!

Message us If you want to have a booth for 1 day or multiple days , these slots will fill up fast! And our vendor fees are dirt cheap (starting at $10!)
