I got to be online with my friend Grace Loewen Fox, also one of my fav bible teachers, and she has released a new book on the names of God - a topic we all need to study! Your life will be stronger if you read this!

Today is going to be a good day because we can celebrate our God as we celebrate our nation’s independence from our enemies, for our nation was founded on God’s principles. God tells us in his word that he will supply all our needs and that means not only our individual needs but also our country’s needs. How often do you think about what our country needs? The needs are very similar to our own which is provision, protection, prosperity, integrity, honesty, and love and respect. These are all written about in God’s word for each one of us and we inhabit our nation. We live here and we work here. Our nation needs our prayers for these needs to be met. Give thanks to our Lord for our country!

Do you want your needs met? How do you see our country’s needs being met by the Lord?

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 NLT

My prayer when we raised sons, is they would become great husbands and fathers, and godly leaders—like their own dad. The fruit is so sweeet as we have seen God be so faithful to answer those prayers 🙏 All three of our sons love God, and love and lead their wife and kids so well. And they are terrific thoughtful sons too!
