About this Award:
Each year, the Commander, Naval Service Training Command selects one unit per area for the Navy League’s Most Outstanding Unit Awards. The competition amongst our great units is keen. These awards represent the collective efforts of the NJROTC and NNDCC programs’ outstanding and dedicated cadets, instructors and supportive schools, parents and communities.

Santa Rosa County District Schools is excited to provide an additional opportunity for volunteers. A new Safety Volunteer initiative will take place in the 2024-2025 school year. This initiative will be an additional layer of support in addition to School Resource Officers on each campus and School Guardians. Volunteers must be cleared as a Level 1 and Level 2 Volunteer and receive a full background check and fingerprinting. More information can be obtained from your school site administrator or Mr. Hahn, Director of Safety.

We are excited to introduce our new Assistant Principal, Mrs. Jolie Hullett! Mrs. Hullett will be overseeing Student Services. Let's give her a big warm welcome!

Please welcome Mrs. Penny Moore, our new School Counselor. She will be working with students whose last names are Mo-Sc. We are thrilled to have her join our team with her wealth of knowledge and experience.

Congratulations to three of our Teacher Academy students! Lani Bennett, Amelia Tawzer, and Briana Morrison passed their Professional Education Certification Exam. They will start the Teacher Program at the University of West Florida this fall.

There is an opportunity to retake the FAST ELA & Alg 1 EOC (graduation requirements) this summer! We encourage students who didn’t pass FAST ELA or the ALG 1 EOC to utilize this testing opportunity!
The testing window is July 15-17! Remediation will be offered leading up to the tests and sign up information will be coming out soon!
