Today we gifted our amazing SSDI team with a Stanley! We know our little humans at SSDI think these are the “coolest” things ever so we wanted our teachers to be top notch and fit right in! 🤍💙❤️

We are prepping our SSDI team for a fun summer and ensuring they stay hydrated to end the year strong!

It is that time of year where we celebrate our SSDI team a little extra as our “Appreciation Week” is around the corner!
Here are some ideas for you to help us celebrate our SSDI team and show our teachers and staff how much we ❤️ them!

✏️If you need some gift ideas for your teacher, some of them filled out a “My Favorite Things” questionnaire! Send us an email at [email protected] with your teacher name and grade level, we can then check to see if we have one on file for your teacher!

Early dismissal tomorrow due to weather concerns.

SEVERE WEATHER ALERT!!! Santa Rosa School District will follow an early release schedule for all public schools on Wednesday, April 10th.

Per the National Weather Service, our area is under the threat of an enhanced severe weather event. This weather event has the potential to include an abundance of rain (between 6-8 inches), destructive wind gusts up to 55mph, quarter size hail, and tornadoes beginning 2pm-4pm through midnight.

Out of an abundance of caution, Santa Rosa students will have an early release day on Wednesday, April 10th. Community Schools Latchkey/After-School Programs and all extracurricular activities, to include practices, games, and events, have been canceled for tomorrow evening. Be sure that you have multiple ways to receive information.

It is anticipated that schools will be in session on Thursday, April 11, 2024.

Families are encouraged to stay connected through local media outlets, county emergency management, district social media, and SchoolStatus Connect for additional information.

🎅 We are REALLY in need of anyone who would want to co-chair our AMAZING Candy Cane Lane! We worked with a third party vendor this last year and it was so easy and not a huge time commitment (except for during that shopping week).

💰 We also need someone to co-chair our fundraising efforts! We have an experienced gal staying on, but we need an extra hand or two here! Mostly logistics, planning and ideas for fundraising.

💗One of our FAVORITE things to do at our school is give a little extra to our teachers and staff at SSDI. We need one or two people who would like to take on planning these events and treats for our team! This position is SO rewarding!
