We are so proud of these boys! They have played one of the most difficult schedules this season packed with some of the most high profile tournaments in the country and competed against some of the nation's best teams. They began the year ranked 44th in the Nation in Perfect Game placing them with Elite company to start their journey as Canes. This year has been tough to say the least because these boys were challenged to compete nationally and asked to mature quickly to handle the adversity that accompanied these type of expectations placed upon them. They have grown into an outstanding group of young men and baseball players. We have won, we have lost, we have hit highs/lows, and we have celebrated growth and faced adversity, and yet through it all we remain as much a family today as we did when it all began. These boys have stuck together through thick and thin; They chose to stay together for each other. They are a selfless group who have made so many great memories, but truly understand that the process and preparation (the toughest part) is what is going to produce true success for years to come. This week these guys are competing in The Perfect Game National Invitational in Orlando for the many of the nation's best teams. We will win games this week and probably lose some games, but we will make some special memories that will be shared amongst these boys for the rest of their lives. The "Canes Way" comes with unbelievable pressure and expectations for players of all ages across the country, but also comes with a special bond for players and families! Thank you to our parents and players! You truly are the best!
