Local hero honored on what would have been his 100th birthday PADUCAH — He's a local hero who would have celebrated his 100th birthday Monday if he was still alive. Now, he'll receive his own marker in Arlington National Cemetery.

Harry J. Loe's 100th birthday was observed this afternoon with a traditional navy cake cutting ceremony by members of the Loe family, friends, neighbors and a contingent of NJROTC cadets from Paducah Tilghman High School in Harry's hometown of Paducah, KY.
