We teamed up with and the Mule Deer Foundation to raffle off a custom Signature Series 300 PRC package this past December at the in Las Vegas, NV. MDF President/CEO Appointed to Federal Hunting and Wildlife Conservation Council On Friday September 23, Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland and Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack appointed Mule Deer Foundation President and CEO Joel Pedersen to the Hunting and Wildlife Conservation Council. Pedersen will join 17 other members on the federal advisory council that is chartere...

The Mule Deer Foundation is in Washington DC this week, meeting with legislators and administration officials, providing education on issues critical to mule deer and black-tailed deer herds across the West. President and CEO Joel Pedersen spent time with Director of the United States Bureau of Land Management Tracy Stone-Manning, exploring opportunities to grow MDF's partnership with the agency, benefitting mule deer, sage grouse and their habitat.

The Mule Deer Foundation continues to be engaged with Federal land management agencies on behalf of our members, and these working relationships are significantly increasing the size and scope of work that is happening on the ground. The addition of dedicated cooperative biologists, technicians and coordinators to the MDF team is resulting in more and larger project work across the west, and is just one significant way that MDF is ensuring the conservation of mule deer, black-tailed deer and their habitat.
