Twas the night before Oktoberfest and all through the town everyone was prepping, all the mugs were to be found.

The Rotarians were putting all the final touches in place while visions of brats and beers were dreamt all over the place.

The King and the Queen were resting and ready for festive events. The keg for the tapping was in place amongst all the tents.

Food vendors were busy there was so much to do and social media was booming with attendees hoping to win a raffle or two.

So people of Palatine and all of surrounding, head to bed now as rest you must get because tomorrow officially starts our beloved Oktoberfest.

Who will be the King and Queen of Oktoberfest this year?

Nobody knows! How do the King and Queen come to reign? That's a mystery too.

What we do know is that if you see the King or Queen at the festival, you should say "Hi!" and grab a photo with them.
It sometimes brings Oktoberfest Luck!
