Hunters Point developer Marshall Gobuty and Cortez Road Investments and Finance Inc. (CRIF) won a dock permit appeal against MHC Cortez Village LLC.

The Southwest Florida Water Management District granted CRIF a permit in 2021 to build 32 new docks and replace 17 along a canal at Hunters Point. MHC Cortez Village appealed, claiming the docks would hinder marina navigation.
