Our Story:
California Partnership (CAP) was founded in 2003. CAP came together out of grave concern about TANF re-authorization.
Inland Equity Partnership is a coalition working together to build civic power among low income, marginalized communities and communities of color in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. Our efforts focus issues that affect very low-income women and families. People who are working low-income jobs, people who are on CalWORKs, CalFresh or other income supports, people who are dependent on state s
Hard lessons: What new California lawmakers learned in 2023 New members of the California Legislature count some victories in representing constituents, but criticize the process.
These programs do not have to be cut. If billionaires and wealthy corporations actually paid their fair share, we would have $70 BILLION more to put toward ending child poverty and homelessness
Some of California’s ‘cheapest’ cities have seen biggest rent hikes
Inland cities including Bakersfield, Fresno, Visalia and Riverside — once cheaper options than pricey places such as the Bay Area — are no longer places of refuge from California’s housing affordability crisis.
Some of California’s ‘cheapest’ cities have seen biggest rent hikes The lack of enough places for everyone to live has sent coastal rent prices inland, removing large swaths of previously cheaper rental units.

Tell UC to drop their charges against protesting workers!
The University of California lashes out against organized labor, unlawfully punishes workers for protected union activity
This week, University of California Police arrested 3 workers on felony charges and confiscated their possessions for allegedly writing messages in chalk and washable paint calling on UC to stop underpaying workers. This is an attack on our fundamental democratic rights and the academic worker labor movement at large

As more Americans lose their homes to foreclosure and homelessness continues to rise, we urge Senator Richard Roth to vote YES on State Senate Bill (SB) 567 (Durazo), the . SB 567 will help to enforce The Tenant Protection Act, AB 1482 (Chiu), which was signed into law in 2019.
General Richard Roth Californians who rent their homes should have basic consumer protections but without avenues for enforcement, current state law can not help keep families stably housed, as intended. , with a growing budget deficit and economic uncertainty, SB 567 is a low-cost, high-impact solution that will help struggling Californians to stay in their homes.
More Californians are losing their homes as foreclosures across the state and U.S. rise While still below pre-pandemic levels, foreclosure activity has increased on an annual basis for 23 straight months.

Attention: Riverside City residents!
In partnership with Inland Equity Partnership & Center for Community Action and Environmental Justice and Brown and Black Redistricting Alliance: A new Riverside City Adopted Map A4A
w/ adding Mt Rubidoux census tract to Ward 1
Map A4 A has all of the North Side Specific Plan in one ward and has a ward (Downtown/Eastside/Northside) with an African American Communities of Interest and while keeping 17 neighborhood communities together and protecting the integrity of the city. Draft Map A4 A maximizes the Voting Rights Act and better aligns with Riverside residents community of interest testimony. Map A4 A has four Latino Citizen Voting Age Population majority wards. Map A4 A includes Casablanca in a High Latino CVAP Ward which includes the Ramona neighborhood which was advocated by its residents.
Glad there are 4 Latino Citizen Voting Age Population Majority Wards. Map A4 A which makes 3/4 majority LCVAP wards on the presidential cycle.
