Restaurants are the Palm Desert community's lifeblood, providing both tax revenue for the city and acting as a primary driver of jobs in the service industry. The city’s restaurants, however, have been hard hit by State and County guidelines in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

As one way to support these restaurants and other small businesses under the Unite Palm Desert umbrella, the City is supporting a “Shop Palm Desert” campaign in conjunction with the El Paseo Parking & Business Improvement District and the Palm Desert Area Chamber of Commerce. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And last week, with support from the City, an established grassroots initiative was launched called “Step Up to the Table Palm Desert."⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

How do you “Step Up to the Table” in Palm Desert?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s easy…and, delicious!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Dine at your favorite restaurant, pick up a meal from your favorite restaurant or purchase gift cards for yourself or as gifts for others. (How thoughtful!)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Take a photo or video of your dining or gift card experience and share on your social media channels using the hashtag .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. Challenge others by tagging them to Step Up to the Table as well.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The campaign is simple in its ex*****on and encourages community support that flows directly to restaurants.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It’s official for me: the best wings in Coachella Valley are from Billy Q's! I’ve tried wings from more than 20 restaurants across the Coachella Valley, and I’ve got to say, so far, no one does the breading as perfectly as this spot.

But I know I haven’t tried all the spots! What are your wing recommendations?
