Did you know that Operation Walk's mission extends beyond restoring mobility?
During each mission, our doctors share with our foreign colleagues the most advanced knowledge of joint replacement surgery. The OpWalk team teaches while working side-by-side with anesthetists, surgeons, internists, nurses in the operation room, floor and recovery room, physical therapy, and central sterilizing of instruments.
This week, let's move mountains!

These are the faces of just some of the 47 patients who received life-changing surgery. A farmer who will once again be able to work his fields to support his wife and three children. A middle school teach who will be able to return to her students after a five year absence. The single mother of two who supports her two children and parents by working three jobs. A baker of thirty years that will be able to join his son and wife back at the family business. Our team of volunteers were able to change lives with just one surgery, and with that change created a chance for our patience to regain independence, self-reliance, and community stability.
