Hoping that everyone can easily find themselves experiencing a moment of gratitude surrounded by love ❤️

The holiday season is drawing closer. With that in mind, be kind to people working in hospitality, even when they get it wrong.

They work weird hours.
They often eat on the run or not at all.
They miss out on parties and get-togethers.
They showed up.
They're doing their best.

So, if the service is slow, the cashier isn't sure of a price, they put the wrong syrup in your coffee, forget to swap your salad for chips, or - God forbid - your drink came with ice and you ordered it without, remember how hard they're trying and that they likely have some serious stuff going on in their own lives.

It costs nothing to be nice.

Pair of larger monkeypox vaccine clinics planned in Palm Springs this month ⋆ The Palm Springs Post A vaccination clinic at the Palm Springs Convention Center later this month is in the planning stages. It will follow one planned at the DAP Health campus this weekend.

I have always seen my role behind the chair as a privilege.

The opportunity to help my guests live their best look, putting a skip in their step as they leave feeling sexier than they arrive… While over the years sharing intimate stories, laughs and tears frustrations of the world around us… Friendships are forged.

Every week I look at my appointments I look forward to the diversity of conversations that lie ahead.

What are the hardest things in the work that I do is when I begin my week and learn about a guests passing who over the years became a good friend.

I met Jack McClelland and his husband Mike back in 2016.

Each of them have been loyal customers and we’ve become truly good friends.

Jack had a heart of gold and would’ve given the shirt off his back to anyone who needed… He was committed to his church, his family and his friends and his husband.

I cut his hair just last week and gave him a big hug. Seeing him walk away only looking forward to his return.

I guess I’ll see you on the other side waiting in line for a haircut. I will miss you, Jack
