the Salon is permanently closed. im not able to take care of it.

I have decided to permanently close the salon. COVID has many different victims. my health is failing, i am on oxygen at night and keep it with me during the day. i had hoped to work forever. closing s a 2 edge sword. it breaks my heart, i feel like i have let everyone down. as of June 30, i lock the door for the last time. i simply cannot do it anymore. im sorry. if i get healthy enough to work again i will call everyone. Please stay safe and protect yourselves. andrew

i am so sorry i have had to temporally close my shop. my first priority are my clients/family/friends. you are all the same to me. i don't want to see anyone of you get sick. nor would i want to see any of the AYS family get sick. we will take care of you when we get the green light to go back to work. i will take 3 at a time, if i have to. you may need to do your own blow dry. i will not let any of you down. i cannot work as hard as i use to, but dammit, with a little patience, and faith, i will make sure you are all perfect when you go home. please be patient with us. it is as hard on you as it is on us. andrew

such a busy week. I did a haircut on a young man from Vancouver this week. he commented. he said his haircut was very basic. nothing special. I asked him what he wanted, I did as he asked. he gave me a 2 star rating. he didn't mention the beard trim for free, or that he was able to get an appointment with me the same day. most of you know, it is a rare occurrence that I can see you the day you call. he seemed to be a nice young man. she is on holiday from Vancouver Canada, to rock climb in the Joshua Tree National Monument. he was then going to Mexico for a friends wedding. wouldn't it be great to take several days, or weeks off to travel. As I said, he was a nice man. so sad he was unhappy. don't you think he could have told me, instead of leaving such a negative comment, and such a low rating?
