Protools HD is the format for recording and mixing. Some notable gear used here for recording are; API, Neve, Neumann, Pearlman, A-Designs, Aurora(GTQ2), UA, Tube Tech and much more. Our understanding and love for recording will surely capture the music with warmth and clarity. In addition we have a studio drum kit available for drummers. For mastering we use Sonic Solutions as our platform of choice. Great end of summer sessions finishing off this on fire record with Cari Cartmill and Aimee Aro!! I feel these recordings put the listener in the middle of a live rock band and portray the best guitar work I’ve done to date.

Huge congratulations to best selling author Steven Rowley!! He has been awarded the prestigious Thurber Prize for American Humor, for his book, “The Gunkle!” This was the first audiobook I recorded with Steven at Melrose Recording Studios Palm Springs. We finished his latest audiobook, “The Celebrants!” last week. Check Steven’s books out! So good!

Chris Bennett!! Recording Final Vocals for her upcoming Jazz Release at Melrose Recording Studios Palm Springs! Chris has gathered together the very best jazz musicians and is about to release a masterful new collection of her original songs!! Chris truly inspired me the first time I saw her play piano and sing at Melvyn’s in Downtown Palm Springs! She’ll be performing there again this Sunday at 7pm. I will be there. Jazz Session!! Melrose Recording Studios in Downtown Palm Springs was jumping with top PS Jazz musicians!! This crew laid down nine songs in one session Monday morning. This will be a new release for Jack Pina on Congas. Doug MacDonald on guitar and producing the session. Larry Holloway on bass. Tim Pleasant on Drums. Leanna Rodgers vocals. Trish Hatley vocals and Chris Griego assistant engineer. Recording this great team!! Doesn’t get much better!!
