ANGER IS A CONDITION

We now have another medical condition named by letters to explain anger, also known as angry child syndrome. Once a priest told me that anger was healthy in order to correct behavior.

Anger never felt right to me. When are we ever slow to anger, and what defines how slow it has to be before getting angry?

Supposing it takes fifty times of the same offense before we are angered or one hundred, is that slow enough?

If so, what good does getting angry bring about? Does being angry make us feel better? Does it make the other person happy, or does it promote peace?

Does it hurt feelings? What happened to the saying, “you catch more bees with honey?” Does this theory still apply?

Is society teaching us self-discipline when it comes to undesirable behaviors and emotions?

Even toddlers with limited regulation who throw temper tantrums learn to handle their feelings if encouraged to do so.

Are we conforming to the world and submitting to the changing times, since anger has become so common?

At one point, slavery and burning witches at the stake were frequently practiced and considered normal.

Years from now, we will realize how barbaric abortion is where we justify murder in the name of choice.

Consider how slow to anger was Jesus with those nailing Him to the cross? Making Himself vulnerably human, no greater trauma than what He went through.

How long does it take for us to anger Him? It seems that God’s patience seldom runs out, and He corrects out of charity. If there is no compassion involved, it cannot render good results.

Anger is not from the heart; it causes division and destroys relationships. Anger is a choice, not a medical condition insinuating that it is beyond our control.

Christian values teach us that God will not allow anything we are not able to manage, and we can do everything through Christ who strengthens us.

The only medicine for anger is God, the ultimate cure. With Jesus, there is nothing we aren’t able to endure.

The journey is worth it, and His ways are pure. Please rest assure that with loving-kindness and guidance, God takes care of us, our rock and refuge, where we know to be secure. 😌❤️🙏

Happy birthday Jesus. Our king is born. We love you. Thank you for who you are and all you’ve done. Our loving Heavenly Father, creator of all things, omnipotent God, savior to the world and all we need. Merry Christmas everyone and God bless you all. So grateful this Christmas for the greatest gift is having been freed.
