If you are growing gardenias, dipladenias, mandevillas or hibiscus, you have probably heard of the latest insect threat: Pepper thrips. This little sucker (literally) attacks flowers and foliage of many ornamental plants. It is smaller than typical thrips and very elusive.
Pesticide trials showing very good control are using the following insecticides in rotation:
Pylon, Conserve, XXpire, Orthene, Kontos, Timectin, and Sarisa.
