We’re all human, but we’re not all the same. Often our differences—like age, ethnicity, lifestyle habits, or where we live—can reveal important insights about our health. When you participate in the All of Us Research Program, you help researchers learn how these factors affect health in different communities. 🎉 Happy 249th Birthday, U.S. Army! 🎂🇺🇸
On June 14, 1775, the U.S. Army was established, and for 249 years, soldiers have served as America’s first line of defense. Their courage, honor, and determination exemplify what it means to “Be All You Can Be.” Today, we celebrate their legacy and commitment to defending our nation.
👉 Join us in honoring the past and defending the future by sharing your own stories of Army service. Use to wish the Army a happy birthday!
June 14 is Flag Day. On this day in 1777, the Second Continental Congress passed a resolution that declared the creation and design of the U.S. flag. The remembrance was a local or state holiday until June 1916, when President Woodrow Wilson declared Flag Day a national event.
🎖️ Meet Randell Angelo Napitan, a U.S. Army Veteran who's found a new mission at the local food bank! 🏡
Thanks to a recreation therapy-led program in collaboration with the HUD-VASH program, Randell is dedicating his time to volunteering and making a difference out of his own goodwill. 🌟
Volunteering is clinically beneficial for Veterans, allowing them to practice social skills, work on distress tolerance, and improve task sequencing. This approach helps them reintegrate and thrive. 💪❤️
