Just because competition is limited when it comes to selling a house in Valmonte, it doesn’t mean you can just put a sign in the front yard and get multiple offers. Here’s how we let our sellers choose their buyers, and not the other way around.
PREPARATION - Prior to its market debut, the house required some attention. Once the sellers packed up the last of their possessions in their move across the country, we enlisted our team to toss any remaining items and began the necessary preparations. Within a span of 10 days, my team painted the interior, refinished the floors in the primary suite, updated light fixtures, added flowers to freshen up the front, thoroughly cleaned the house, and expertly staged the home. Finally, we brought in a professional photographer to capture photos and videos of the house, and had it ready for a weekend of open houses.
SELLING IT - Within hours of the listing going live, we reached the top online ranking with over 1,000 views on Zillow.com. To help drive traffic and enhance the open house experience, we brought in the Recess Ice Cream Truck and served visitors custom ice cream treats. This year we are doing something to help those in need and want to invite you to join us. Our family has supported Harbor Interfaith Services in San Pedro for the past several years. With the high cost of living in our area, many families are struggling to make ends meet, and Harbor Interfaith supports those families in need. I am reaching out to our community to see if you will help me support these families this year by collecting food items and small gifts for children and gift cards for teens. Here’s what they need:
* Toys for 6 weeks -12 years old (around $20)
* Gift cards for teens valued at $20
* Food (spiral ham, canned vegetables, stuffing, yams, cake mix, frosting) almost the same as Thanksgiving food
Want to help? I will be collecting gifts in my office in Malaga Cove but can also swing by and pick things up if that is easier. But don’t wait, the deadline for these gifts is Friday December 16th. Also, there are several volunteer opportunities to help assemble food and toy baskets as well as distribute them to families at the Harbor Interfaith Services building in San Pedro on December 20th and 21st. If you are interested in donating or volunteering, please let me know and I will coordinate our efforts (click the link below). My goal is to stoke out as many families as possible this year!
