I will never be able to say what this means to me.

I'm good at being the pit bull, the back bone for other people, the protector. The "not so silent" person that pushes others to be who they can be. I'm used to hearing about how great others are and what they did to be where they are.

I know I actually suck at accepting compliments and knowing what to say when people might finally say... Hey, Im proud of you" Kinda fitting in the end that I am in a different state when this was awarded because I'm not sure how I would of reacted being there in person..

I'm big on staying humble. Years ago I said in an artist field. The key to it, is always staying humble enough to continue to learn and grow. I'm not always right, I'm not always perfect. Life in general is learning how to change and adapt to new surroundings and growth.

Today I'm thankful. I'm thankful for the girls that trusted me to join me on my salon dream. Thankful for my clients and people that have always supported me.

I opened this salon two years ago. With every dime I saved to do so. I moved to Florida officially January 2021. With not ONE single client or friend. I hustled to build my business and worked really hard to create a salon with a peaceful, easy environment for us all.

This means so much to me. It means sometimes the black sheep, forgotten struggler, or how the outsider wins.

I am grateful to every client and referral every single person has brought my way. I'm thankful for everyone who has believed in me and openly and selflessly supported me. Much, much love to you all 🖤🖤
