Our ears are still ringing, and our hearts are overflowing with gratitude! 🎉 A massive thank you to everyone who came out to Neons Beach Shack on Friday night to support our employees affected by the July 3rd fire. 🎟️ We’ll have a 50/50 raffle, door prizes, and tons of Hook'd shirts for sale. All proceeds from this event will go directly to the staff affected by the fire on July 3rd.

Our hearts were broken on July 3rd, 2024. 💔 As many of you know, an electrical fire ripped through our restaurant in the early morning hours. What hurt us the most was knowing that many of our employees would be without jobs during the peak season.

Thanks to the incredible support from local businesses, we were able to place our team members at other area restaurants. 🙏 We are so grateful for your support during this challenging month.

We want to remind everyone about the employee benefit concert happening this Friday night at Neons Beach Shack 🎶 100% of the money raised will go directly to our workers. Let's come together and make a difference! ❤️

🥥 The coconuts must go on! 🥥 Even with Hook'd closed, we're still out here slinging fresh coconuts! Drive up to our park-and-go Coco Locos location for a fresh coconut to-go! We drill it right on the spot and send you on your way with all the goodness that Mother Nature provides! 🌴✨

We continue to be amazed by the public support for our employees. Not only has Neons helped place 10 of our employees until we get on our feet, but now they have gone and done this!

How it started vs. how it's going.

We've still got a long way to go in our rebuilding process, but one thing about us—we don't sit around waiting. The transformation inside Hook'd is already quite noticeable. If we had a superpower, it would be the ability to clean up and roll our sleeves up when needed. We're aiming to reopen the bait shop soon and are making daily progress toward welcoming you back. 💪✨

We are already rebuilding! 💪The temporary roof went up today! Many of you have heard the sad news that Hook’d Pier Bar & Grill had an electrical fire on July 3rd. This fire has left 41 employees without a job. At the same time, some have been able to find employment, while others are still looking. Unfortunately, the insurance policy does not cover employee wages.

The outreach of love via messages to the staff and owners has been appreciated, and they all have felt the love of the community and vacationers who have been like family to them over the years.

Many of you have asked how you can donate to the Employee Donation Fund, which 100% of the donations will go to the employees. Well, we now have two online sites to use.

Many of you have been reaching out asking how you can help our employees, and we are beyond grateful for the community rallying behind us. ❤️

We also plan to document our rebuilding process. We already have things in motion: cleaners and insurance adjusters are in today, and the roof guys will be here tomorrow. We’re working hard to come back as quickly as possible and continue serving you with smiles, cold drinks, and delicious food. 🍹🍴
