Just a little update to this beautiful cabinet on this stormy morning. All I'm waiting for is the hardware to mount the glass door. Also, I enjoy working with wood much more than glass. No matter how many times I do it, that stuff makes me nervous 😬

I had an interesting time making these saloon style doors out of some reclaimed wood from an 1800's barn! Definitely a first, and I think they turned out pretty good. What do you think?

Cute little keepsake/jewelry box with a fitted lid. Could also be used for sugar etc with the food safe finish. This one is white oak with a textured carve on the top. Could also be personalized with a monogram or any number of things.
What would you have me put on the lid?

Draw Bore Mortise and Tennon joinery. Essentially custom wood nails fitted into what is already arguably one of the strongest joints. If you think this is overkill for a workbench then you may be right, but you definitely don't know me very well! 😁

Here is a 20" wide serving board made of walnut, maple, padauk, and leopard wood. This was a really fun challenge to pull off, but so worth it for the final look!

I took a little break after the holidays, but it feels great to be making sawdust again! How about this arched cutting board with a matching juice groove?

Finally finishing up a personal project that I've been working on for way too long. Out with the old bulky peninsula and in with the new streamlined island! I love the way this new island looks! Not to mention the way it feels! So much more space!

It's that time of year for reflection, and I couldn't be more thankful for everyone who has supported me through the ups and downs of this year. My family and friends who have encouraged me and supported me, as well as those who entrusted me to create something for you- you all have helped me to learn, grow and be better. For that I am thankful.

Trying something new today. Walnut and Sapele, rough carved on the CNC and then hand molded to the final shape of these kitchen utensils. Just gave the first coat of all natural tung oil.
