This location is an addition to our town and beach offices, which are still open!

Dear Patients,
I am announcing my retirement at the end of the year. It comes with heart felt emotions and excitement because I have been dedicated to serving my patients in Panama City for 38 years. I have enjoyed taking care of your children and watching them grow into adults. I have been grateful and honored to care for my patients and in some cases multiple family generations, over the years, so I would like to thank you all for this opportunity.

As of January 2, 2022, Dr. Eehab Kenawy with Emerald Coast Pediatrics will take over your medical needs. Our 200 W 19th Street location will continue to be open with the same faces that you have grown to love. Your medical records will reside here, and we will continue to serve your children(s) medical needs in 2022 and beyond.

The most important part and the best part of this change is that you as an Emerald Coast Pediatric patient will have access to the extended hours and Saturday Urgent Care Clinic located at 621 W Baldwin Road. Those extended hours are as follows:

Mon-Thu from 8am-5pm (extended Hours 5pm-8pm)
Fri from 8am-4pm (extended Hours 4pm-7pm)
Sat from 9am-2pm

AAP updates guidance on masks, testing and PPE for pediatric COVID-19 care The AAP updated its guidance regarding COVID-19-related advice for cloth face coverings, testing protocols and personal protective equipment.

Our sweet Courtney has been on journey for the last two years to transition from LPN to RN. She attended the weekend program in Port St Joe. Today she received her official diploma from Gulf Coast State College. Due to COVID19, no official pinning ceremony was offered. We are so incredibly proud of her hard work and dedication. She plans to continue her education in the fall to complete her Bachelors degree in Nursing.

American Academy of Pediatrics is encouraging well visits during the Pandemic especially for children under 2 who need vaccines.

Albibi Families,

We want to let our families know that we are here during this trying time. Our office is still open and we are still seeing patients. We have made adjustments to our “everyday” way of doing things to accommodate the CDC guidelines. We are cleaning, sanitizing, and staggering our sick/well visits. We are seeing those patients that are sick outside the back of the building. If your child is due for a well check, we encourage you to keep your appointment. The American Academy of Pediatrics does NOT recommend any delay with immunizations. Let’s face it, if we stop providing immunizations we will be promoting the reemergence of some of these communicable diseases. If you are scheduled for a well check, you will be taken straight back to an exam room. There will be no congregating in the lobby with other patients waiting for their appointment time. If you are coming for a sick appointment, please drive around the back of the building and call us while waiting in your vehicle. We know that things can arise overnight with our children, but please no walk-ins at this time. Simply call our office, even if you are on the way, so that we can accommodate the office accordingly. If you are picking up a prescription, you may pull under the awning out front and call us, we will bring it out to you. We understand the feeling of panic with COVID-19, but please be assured we are still seeing children with just a common cold, strep throat, ear infections, and even the flu. Now is not a good time to visit the Emergency Room unless it is a true emergency.

Our office opens at 7:30 am Monday-Friday, but closing times vary by day. We love our families and want to provide the best resource for continued health.
