Sunset was on fire yesterday evening! Nothing better than a sunset on the airboat in the marsh of west bay!
Good find for my little girl! Daddy is a little jelly!❤️🤫
Just a nice sunset ride and slide!
Just a really cool picture I took of Bonnie and Clyde's fledgeling yesterday. I'm sure it will grow up to be just like mom and dad!! He even looks like trouble!!🫣🦅
Happy Easter!!! *WARNING* Pretty Long post ahead.....
How many eagles do you 👀? I couldn't think of a better day to share some exciting and amazing news that even blew my mind! It just shows, just when you think you have mother nature figured out she will throw you a curve ball with a slider twist.
I first posted the sad news of Michael and Michele, suspecting them of losing their babies from the January tornados due to their un characteristic behavior they demonstrated after the storms. The behavior I witnessed was not consistant with past nesting years at the their primary nest and had me very confused as to what was going on with them.
Well, once again, M and M have defied the odds and my skepticism, of their resilience and have surprised me as they always do!
I am proud to share, that M and M have had not one, not two, but three babies this year in one of their alternate nest!!❤️🦅🦅🦅 This is why they are my favorite pair of Bald Eagles! I have been fortunate to have watched them from the very begining of their pairing in October 2018, and have continued to share with many people their adventure of life up to now.
If you've experienced them on your tour or heard me speak of them, then you know of the smile I have on my face and the warmth I have in my heart learning of this development! Sorry for the long post, but I believe M and M would want you to know they are a happy family and they have had a rare clutch of three babies that you see here with Michael spending family time learning from one of the BEST eagle daddy's there is! Fly high little ones!!🦅❤️ (side note: this is the first time I have seen or photographed three Bald Eagle siblings at once, in person)

Thanks for reading!

Sunsets never disappoint on the marsh on the airboat! #
I've waited a while to make this post only because our very loved resident Bald Eagles, Michael and Michelle have always seemed to overcome bad weather and adversities in the past. That's why they are so special to me and many that have been fortunate to observe them on their tours.
As many know, we had severe weather in January that spawned tornados, high winds and large size hale. Back in December, we observed Michele feeding atleast one chic in her nest.
As promised, I have told many that I would post and keep everyone updated on the status of the family and their developements. As many of you know mother nature can be tough and cruel sometimes.
As of this date, it does not appear that the chick or chicks made it through the storm. I am heartbroken for M and M, but I know they will overcome and get through this. The adversities they have concord together after Hurricane Michael is not short of remarkable and amazing. They continued to live their lives after such an event as if nothing ever happened and kept on keeping on as they should.🦅🦅
Both M and M are still currently flying their breeding territory, visiting their nest once in a while and roosting together in the trees adjacent to their nest. I suspect after a little time they will come to grips with this heartbreak and will continue on with their lives as they always have and be ready for this fall, to start another family once again and continue on being the great parents they are! ❤️❤️🦅🦅

🇺🇸Happy " Save The Bald Eagle Day" Especially to our local resident gems, Michael & Michele🦅🦅, Maverick & Charlie🦅🦅 and last, but not least Bonnie & Clyde 🦅🦅🇺🇸
Michael watching over Michele and his new family member!🐣🦅💪🏾
Well, we have atleast one Christmas eglet!❤️🐣🦅 We observed Michelle sitting on her clutch December 24th on a midday tour. On our middainy tour yesterday the 26th, we were able to watch Michelle tearing off pieces of an unknown food source and actively feeding a suspected eglet. This was so exciting to watch! I could've sat there all day and watch her. She is the BEST momma🦅!!❤️ Off in the distance, Michael was doing what he does best, posted up in the wide open protecting his family from any intruders that dared to enter his circle!🦅💪🏾
Merry Christmas from our wild family to yours! 🎅🎄
I'm checking on my Tennessee friends and hoping you and your family are safe from these destructive Tornado's...

Its kinda blurry due to the distance and lighting this photo was taken. You can see my favorite momma eagle "Michelle" sitting on what I hope to be E10 and E11 her 5th set of twins. 2021 was the only year they had fledged only one. I suspected she had laid them, but haven't visually seen her or Michael sitting on them until now! She sure is a good momma🦅!❤️ Its gonna be exciting from now until April or May!!
Thank you Mr. Stepper for sharing the photo you took!
Turn up your volume!!
Michael and Michelle are letting everyone know this is their breeding territory. This is one of my favorite times of the season for viewing our resident American Bald Eagle population. It only gets better from here to fledging!🇺🇸🦅🦅🇺🇸
There's just something about the marsh!
Several amazing westbay sunset pictures from the past several weeks!
Brittany and her group were fortunate to have foud some Manatee's yesterday during their snokeling trip.
Manatees, also known as "Sea Cow's" and "Gentle Giants, are mamals usually between 9 and 10 feet long weighing on average of 1,000 ibs. Some Manatees have been know to reach a maximum weight of approximately 3,500 ibs.
None the less, when experincing these magnificent creatures in person, in their habitat, its nothing short of a once in a lifetime experience. Great job B!❤️
🇺🇲🦅They are awesome! I love our resident American Bald Eagles!🇺🇸🦅
Haven't seen our resident American Bald Eagle Michelle since her babies fledged in April. Today, she decided to surprise me and my group on the . It appears she was nest checking for this falls mating season with her boy Michael.
She is a wonderful mother, so full of pride for her family and her country as she clearly demonstrates confidence, freedom and conviction in her nest today!🦅🇺🇲
Michelle, you are awesome!!❤️
Proud of my little Captain!❤️
Just a few pictures from last week out in the marsh!
Proud of my girl!!
B By The Sea Adventures! Panama City Beach, Florida! If you are in Panama City Beach, Florida and want to experience anything from swimming with dolphins to snorkeling and shell hunting on the worlds most beaut...
Caught this ole Florida Lizard🐊 slipping the other day for a midday stroll through the marsh. And on the way back on a separate trip, a resident Bottled Nose Dolohin decided to show off to us a little bit!🐬
Find a quiet place and TURN UP the volume!!🦅🦅 Michael and Michelle are the best parents!
In this short video, Michelle brings a snack of somesort to E8 and E9 and feeds them before bed time.
They are so excited to see mom with a snack. You can hear both of them sounding off, demonstrating a very soft distinct eaglet peal screeching sound to show their appreciation for Michele's company and food dilivery!
Also, if you count six trees left of the nest, you will see Michael on a roost observation limb, scanning the sky's for any potential intruder eagles during the eaglets feast! Michael is such a great dad and protector of his family!❤🦅🇺🇸
Well, today was pretty exciting on the marsh!🦅🦅 If you have been on our tours, you know how special our resident American Bald Eagles are to us. This time of year is full of activity with the many resident eagles we observe on a daily basis.
Each breeding pair of eagles are special in their own way. From Bonie and Clyde being as ruthless as any two eagles could possibly be! To Maverick being the protector of his eaglets and his mate, showing his air superiority over intruder eagles!
And then, you have Michael and Michelle.... who have been two very special breeding pair of eagles that I have been fortunate to share with many people on my tours. We've been watching these two adult eagles since they built their primary nest in 2018, just before Hurricane Michael devistated Bay County.
Their story is nothing short of a miracle and that of nature's will to survive in a world that continues to test not only us, but them as well.
As tough as things can be sometimes, we should look to the playbook and blue print of "Nature's Way" of survival and pushing forward. And these eagles do just that.
I would like to share with you Michael and Michelle's eaglets, E8 and E9. They were hanging out on the nest rails today strengthening their wings and legs. This is the first time this year, we've seen two eaglets at the same time, confirming the twins!!🦅🦅
Looking forward to watching them develope until the day they fledge!
I'm ready for some secluded sunsets!
Just a leisurely stroll through the salt marsh for this young buck! 🦌
