Where do I start? “What’s on my mind?” This might be long. I want more than anyone could imagine to post that I’m that picture of healthy everyone gets to see when I post a picture. I’m SOOOOO much better and I so blessed to be alive. Please understand this is where I try to come to be positive and it’s hard for me to update that I’m still plagued with complications. I miss Paris. I miss my family and friends more than you all miss me. I’ve had so many texts and calls of continued prayers and I’m so grateful. I’ve unfortunately have had 2 hospital stays in the last 2 weeks. Rehab is on hold. I have an MRI Monday and will have more answers when we find out what exactly is wrong in my abdomen. When I bled out, all the blood that was in my body was literally in my abdomen. It looked like I was 9+ months pregnant . I had blood clots the size of a loaf of bread that settled in the lower abdomen and they have shrunk drastically but have now encapsulated into abscesses. In English, they cause a ridiculous amount of pain in my belly and one is affecting my left leg. They are infected. This just happens, it sucks but could be so much worse. (This is where you pray) I won’t know anything specific on a plan to treat this or the other complications until after the MRI. I can’t schedule my clients yet and I do mean YET! Be patient with me, I’ll be back as soon as I possibly can but right now I have to get me better so I can lead the best life God has intended for me. Huge hugs and kisses!

I miss you all so much! I’ve been following the whole “rest and recover” instructions but if you know me you know I’m going stir crazy. My GOAL is to be back in Paris at Tanglz the beginning of March. This will be VERY much less than my normal 10-12 hour days. This has been the hardest physical recovery imaginable but I am a SURVIVOR! My God is mighty indeed. Almost 3 months later... I can’t wait to see you all! Even if you are coming for a hug! 🥰

Hey y’all, it’s Jess! Quick update.. Sandy has blockage in both right & left arteries. Right side has 99%, so that is the more concerning side. She is going back for surgery in 15 minutes & they will place a stent. If everyone could please keep the prayers coming, that would be greatly appreciated. We love you all & thank you in advance ❤️ I have her phone, she will not be handling it for a minute. Texts are more than welcomed & I will try my best to get back with everyone updated. I will keep this post updated as well.

Got a huge request as if I haven’t asked a lot from you all lately. When I was in the hospital a couple of weeks ago they found some stuff that wasn’t normal with my heart and we are having a hard time keeping my blood pressure down. Thursday morning I’m going in for a heart cath and possibly stents. I have a phenomenal cardiologist in Galveston. He has permission to fix whatever he needs too when he’s in. If you call me or text me don’t be upset if I don’t answer. I have so much love for my Facebook family and all I ask is that you say a prayer for everything to go smoothly. Thank you all in advance. It’s been a rough year. I appreciate your patience more than you could ever understand.

Joey got out of the OR about 5 hours ago. The surgery went well. They were able to do the disc replacement but it took about an hour longer than they anticipated. For the first time since the fall he can put his arm above his head, thank you Jesus! The doctor wants him to be home this week in case he has any swelling, or any complications. He’s in quite a bit of pain but the medicine is working. Thank you all for prayers messages and calls. Praying for rest for him tonight.

My husband Joey, is having C3-4 C4-5 disc replacement with titanium in his neck Monday the 8th at 11:30 in Clearlake. The fracture in his neck was not stable and it shifted. Please keep he and I in your prayers. His spinal cord is bruised causing him to drop things. Mostly effecting the left arm but sometimes both. Thank you so much to all my clients who are ever so patient. We will be in Paris the same week and I will be working.

This is why I love my job. This is a hairbrush stroke procedure on a beautiful lady who has no brows. I happen to love this lady who is a blessing to all who know her so I may be a tad partial. I am not a fan of microblading but love the look of individual hairs. This is done with a needle not a blade. ❤️

I so wish this wasn’t true... 🤦🏼‍♀️ Girl if your brows walk in before YOU do, there’s a problem! Am I alone in this?
