Fall Varsity Banquet 💙🏈💛
Some team highlights:
📣Varsity Cheer- For very first time, our cheer began competing this season and went from not placing at their first competition, to placing 2nd at their second. The girls brought some serious energy to the sidelines of every home football game 👏🏼
🏈Varsity Football- This team had an impressive season, earning a spot in playoffs and improving their points scored per game average from 15 last year, to 31 this year. With a senior squad of 15 and a solid group of underclassman, the team ended their season, 5-2 👏🏼
⚽️Varsity Soccer- Despite a very tough schedule, this team kept pushing the entire season and never gave up. Some games they had just enough to field a team, which meant no breaks but these girls didn’t let that stop them 👏🏼
🏃➡️Varsity XC- This year’s varsity squad was actually a party of 1 and despite being a solo runner, this athlete pushed himself to the point of setting a new PR. Plus he may have ran two marathons during the season, in his downtime👏🏼
🏐Varsity Volleyball- The highlight for this team, was the improvements they made from the beginning of the season, to the very end. It was noted how hard they worked and bonded as a team, to end their season with some well deserved wins👏🏼
To our Fall Senior Athletes, you will all be missed more than you know. Thank you for your commitment to your team, your school and your coaches.
Go Rebels!
On to winter sports 🏀🏒🤼♂️🏃➡️📣
Let’s give it up for our solo XC runner this year, Sawyer Oakes! During the season, Sawyer did not only run two, YES TWO, marathons but also set a new personal best.
Sawyer will be competing in sectionals this weekend @ Mount Markham and we wish him nothing but the best of luck! Go get em’ Sawyer💛💙
🏀Attention Basketball Athletes and Families. The wonderful Mrs Schick, has graciously put together an apparel store through BSN, for the upcoming basketball season. Store closes 11/12.
