I just wanted to say thank you to all of the incredible women who have come into my life and changed it for the better in some way. Whether we have barely connected or have met several times, it’s truly been such a privilege to be in the workforce with such powerful women.

No matter, I certainly wouldn’t be the woman I am today without my daughter, Shayde.

Shayde was one of the bravest, kindest women I had the pleasure of knowing. Being the mother of such an astonishing young woman has been one of the best privileges I’ve ever had, and she continues to live on and inspire me to this day.

When Shayde was younger, she asked why there aren't more women running businesses. Ever since, I have been working to fulfill the promise I made to my daughter; to be that woman in charge, and to help other women succeed.

They say showing up is 80% of the success. Throughout my life I’ve seen this to be true.

Every time I show up magical things happen.

I went out to a concert part of Utah Tech week. It was a band of five CEOs that was playing and invited all of Utah tech to come join. I did not have anybody really to take with me so I went by myself and ran into these three beautiful women.

As I got to know them I found out that they are all amazing professionals, executive, and one future mayor. On top of that they are genuine, kind, and overall fun.

They’ve agree to join my women’s CEO slack channel which just leveled upper the slack channel for everyone who is involved. I am so excited and feel so grateful to be welcomed to their table!

It takes a village! The best part of business is the friends you make along the way. This year has been blessings beyond belief!

Jan - Start a new
Feb - Major project canceled
March - Officially decide to take on more then one client at a time.
April - Refine direction
May - took opportunity and made lasting memories.
June - Renamed the company and took on a partner
July - Added our first team members and 2 more Clients
August - Set up full training program for our sales teams. Birthday 🥳 with friends who refused to let me be alone
September - Started to see my 4 years worth of work come full circle ⭕️
October - Doubled the Team
November- refined process and built SOP for growth. Canceled project started up again.
December - ended the year with contract renewal at 90% Full team of experts ready to rock Jan 2023!

We are results driven company and I could not of done any of this without the encouragement of the amazing people around me, thank you! I am humbled and greatful! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Since starting the business, I have seen lots of growth, but am currently experiencing the growing pains that every business experiences. One of the many challenges that businesses face, is maintaining consistency, and balancing quality and growth.

My team and I have been working to identify how we can set our goals so that we're either meeting them or exceeding them; in which we are finding consistency in the work that we do collectively.

How do you maintain the balance in your company?

Thankful that my team let me take an impromptu photo of one of our morning meetings! 😂

To me:
- This day is a day to slow down, reflect and truly remember how amazing my life is, no matter what is happening in the world around me.
- I am grateful we have a Holiday that forces the world to go a little slower and take a moment to ponder.
- A time where the relationships that were built throughout the year come together in gratitude.
- A time when we have the opportunity as leader to truly show the people around us what they mean and how grateful we are.
- A time where even if it is for just a moment there is peace and we have the opportunity to hold onto this peace all year around.
- A time where we can learn from our past and plan for our future.

No matter how what this day means to you. I wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving! Thank you for being apart of my life and may we see each other at an event soon!

Why are you graciously giving to other’s ?

Help and give without expecting anything in return, because 99% of the time it won’t be right away.

It was pointed out to me yesterday that in many cases others are just using me for my resources. The advice was to be guarded and make sure that ever transaction is monetized.

I get it but for me adding value where I can is important and my number one priority.

Yes I know in some cases I am being used, but I also know the great opportunities I have received staying open to people.

Be Brave….

Live your life with bravery, embracing your imperfections, walking in your own path with respect that sometimes you may be dancing alone.

I hope whatever path or adventure you took for Labor Day it allowed you to relax and reset!

Every season ends.

Days turns into nights and summer turns into fall. Fall is definitely in the air tonight as I do my evening hike.

it is a great reminder to enjoy every moment.

Over come your fears!

If you can overcome your fear by doing extreme sports then you won’t get frozen while making business decisions. But not all of us CEOs have the money to rent a private jet personal trainer in order to do something extreme.

JUMP by Limitless Flight is out get help CEOs get out of their own way with a 1/8th of the cost. Though based-jumping in a VR/AR experience and it was amazed. I was truly faced with my fears as I backed away from the simulation several times but in the end I actually did jump. I cannot tell you how much this is already helped me during the week in moving forward in spots that I was frozen.

I have OCD behavior so a sight like this would have driven the 20 year old me crazy!

Don’t give away your power!

I walked in power all month with self-confidence and ready to conquer the world and what came out of it was complete Magic.

Conversation with family and my son were deeper connection, New relationships formed, New business ventures were made, friendships got stronger, and inner love was strong then it had been for a long time.

The in one failed whoop it all came crashing down. Luckily I did a reevaluation and the crash only happened for about an hour. So what happened?

I ran into a friend at the gym, they mentioned that they saw how great I was doing and then asked where things really going that well? You see they actually knew my whole story, they knew what I’ve been through the last couple of years. I was being called out if you will and all of a sudden imposter syndrome took over and I felt like I needed to explain myself.

in order to defend myself as an authentic person. I started telling her all the things that were still going wrong. This seem to be much more settling with her and she smiled and said well I’m glad that you’re still try and keep going. I also felt justified, thinking I’m an authentic person I can be real with anybody.

The problem is then my mind start kicking in and I start thinking of all the things that could go wrong. All the things that could happen with everything that I just finally got over the hill with. This is not going to do me any justice or good. So I replayed the situation back in my head. Thinking if I ever met her again, I’m just going to own all the things that are going right after all she already knows the things that happened.

Are you letting the world take your power because they know your history? Don’t! The present defines you not the past!

COMING TOGETHER!

As business Owners/Leader: We know that in order to have synergy, not be blinded by our competitor, and stay in game for years to come; that it is important to add diversity of strengths and weakness on your team.

As leaders: We embrace our team and are grateful that no one person is the same. For this is how innovation is done and carried out.

As a creator: History has taught us that that we will be better for it, not scorn or put in the shadows.

As a problem solver: We will solve any solution. Thus, why picking the team and tribe is so important. As MacGyver pulling out his wits and supplies to solve any problem, the people we surround ourselves with do the same and add great value to others.

As strong-minded people: We are grateful because we can see the over-all picture and vision. Like a caption steering his ship so shall we stay firm with our decisions and see the company through any rough waters.

As the person of responsible: We take 100% responsibility no matter what comes or who is involved for we do hold all the burden. We also know and understand the great rewards that comes along with it.

As someone who sacrifices: We understand to get something you must lose something else. We gladly do this for the people and clients we serve.

A leader can be found in all of us. I am grateful for the many leaders that stepped forward on 9/11 and even more that stepped up on the days that followed. They did not look at politics, color, social statis, gender, or age. Some said, “You go, I will stay to find others who need help”. Some said, “I will go inside” knowing that building is coming down. Some called those closest to them with love and final words. Others went to work despite getting sick from the fumes and debris to help with the search. Still so much more stories that will never be able to be express, felt or told. However, leader non-the-less.

May we always remember with their examples, that leaders are all around us. United and coming together there is no problem that cannot be solved.

I have completely down to my core, but that’s a story for another post……

The point is if you had told me then that in less then three years not to worry because:

I will have my dream client
I will be able to travel and work from anywhere
I will to see more of the world and create great memories. 
And most of all I will start to feel whole again.

I would’ve told you that you are crazy, but that is exactly where I am 🎯😍
