We have some fantastic new items this week. As some of you know I was out picking a couple weeks ago and brought back some cool finds. My vendors have also been busy, they've also restocked with some great finds. The first thing I want to talk about is the life size truck on the sidewalk. Versatile piece. Use it as a potting table, serve your party goods from the bed of the truck. It has a cool patina look to it. I just HAD to have it🙂. If you need a hall tree, I found a spectacular piece. All wood with metal base and umbrella holders. Nice statement piece. I also have to mention the pink elephant 18 pc. Glass set brought in. Totally mid- century, has the original box. If your into mcm you got to check this set out. We have a really good selection of patriotic items. KC refreshed her booth with a large primitive cupboard in very good condition, she also refinished a dresser in a dreamy mint color, very pretty. Well enough said. OmG!! Look what's new! This beautiful "Dixie" dresser! All done up in Dixie Belle Paint. The drawers glide easily the finish is exceptionally good. We also have a cute little coffee bar/ kitchen cabinet or whatever or wherever you need extra storage. The shutter doors slide, drawers glide good. Nice durable finish. We have 2 bar height 29" Stools. We've also got a cute little table with magnolias and 2 chairs to match. Aubergine Antlers made some adorable pillows along with her cute little handknit moose. We have a lot to show off this week. First off our sidewalk is bursting with color along with Betty Boop and her buddy alien Ale. These are cast aluminum all other items are metal. If you can't find what you like on the sidewalk, check out the greenhouse or backyard. Onto the the newly completed furniture... we have a cedar chest, a darling little 3 piece dining set, 2, 4-drawer dressers, a super cute commode/ wash stand, a very useful small kitchen workstand/bar stand. To compliment our ranch/western area, we got in some longhorn mounts and skull mounts. I'm sure I'm missing something so browse through the pictures, stop in the store. Dressers! We have a few dressers available! From small cuteness to large mid-century modern, tall boy or low and long, like 6 ft. Long. We also have a good selection of nightstands. I just brought in a hightop table, it is a new out of box piece with a granite look formica top. Table can be purchased separately or with chairs/stools. Belle paint Rapids MN

Since spring was not happening outdoors this week ... I created my own indoors. Dug through my stash of furniture that was needing a makeover and found 2 great pieces. I did a blend of CMpaints on both the jewelry armoire and nightstand. Added a Redesign by Prima transfer and some decoupage. I also refinished a set of nesting tables using Silk all in one paint in the color Mojave. I'm really liking this color. We've got a great selection of Easter decor still available, lots of spring merchandise and an occasional summer day in the greenhouse. We will be closed Easter Sunday. Here we are, another week, another "what's new" post. I'm really excited to show off what's new this week. We have a new talented vendor, "KC", you have to check out her adorable corner. We have a great hutch nicely done, great for open shelving display/storage. 2 - 9 drawer dressers. See picture caption for size and price. We have more coins added to the collection of coins we had. I came across some cool wood postcards distinctive to Park Rapids and yes you can mail them. All the spring and summer floral are ready for picking. Time for "what's new " this week. Sorry I missed last week. Very busy week with spring merchandise coming in. We received some new metal 3D effect pictures. They are awesome! The pictures shown here don't do them justice. They compliment my rustic western/cabin section nicely. There is also a 3D old Chevy for the mancave/car collector room. I finished a tall boy 4 drawer dresser in a new color from the silk paint line. The chosen color is "Badlands". There are 7 new colors, all are shown in one of the attached photos. We also received the bonding boss. this is a stain blocker / paint adhesion primer combined product. I have 2 nice spring/summer dining sets. 1 is metal frame with glass top, suitable for outdoor, the other is rattan mainly for indoors or 3 season porch. The little green gnomes found their way to the shelf, ready to make you smile. Also, Nascar fans, I have a lot of cars mostly from the 1990s early 2000. So much to talk about. It's time for "what's new"! Yes I've been gone for a couple weeks, let's call it a business trip... if you all know me any kind of business trips involves shopping for cool items for the store. So those items will be trickling in. While I was gone I left a few small pieces of furniture for one of the gals covering the shop to paint. I gave her full rein to decide what color combinations to use. My only suggestion was I wanted I diagonal pattern on the cute MCM nightstand. Well she didn't disappoint. Some of you came in while she was working on it and have been eagerly waiting for the finished project to be featured. So scroll through the photos and check it out! You will also find as you scroll other new pieces brought in including a nice corner hutch, small cabinets, bar stools, the ever talented Aubergine Antlers brought some adorable Easter decorations. We have the Milkhouse Candles available in store now. And I could keep going on but you just need to stop in!

New this week... well I brought in some unpainted pieces of furniture, cleaned them, polished them, arranged them, rearranged them. Sold some of them, brought more in and, well, you get the process. So we ended up with 2 hutches, 1 is 1 piece the other is a 2 piece. An old buffet, and a beautifully refinished dresser. I created a rustic western/ cabin decor area. Moved the baby/toddler clothing.. again.. still working on removing the last bit of holiday decorations. I did get my Valentines section set and hopefully work on Easter/Spring the next couple days. Happy New Year! New Year, New items! We'll start out with a nice quality corner hutch. Cochran is the brand. Very well made. Finished in Dixie Belle CM Paint Spanish moss and drop cloth. Next we have a pub style table with glass top. We finished another set of matching nightstands. They are done in Dixie Belle CMP Caviar (black) and Espresso stain. Nice solid wood with dovetail drawers. The coffee bar/ buffet coordinates well with them. We have a couple sofa/hall tables. One with a faux trunk style top, the other being a oak table, again painted with Dixie Belle CMP Caviar. Scroll through the photos for product information. Happy New Year everyone! I hope the new year brings or continues to offer good health to you! I originally posted that I would be closed New Years day, but here I am, at the store, so if your looking for something to do today come on in! I am open till 5 pm. I will also be open Tuesday, Jan 2, 10-5.

This weekend is sure to be busy for everyone. Our Holiday store hours are:
*Open Saturday the 23rd 10-5. *Closed December 24th and 25th and possibly the 26th.

* closed (maybe) January 1st.
* January and February we are open Wednesday-Saturday 10-5. Closed Sundays.
I did have a little time to refinish a little piece of furniture. It's cucumber ice meets cactus meets to***co road (these are all Dixie Belle paint colors). We nicknamed it the prickly smoked pickle. Every once in a while we name a piece of furniture. Some names we've used are "great full dead", (you can imagine how it got that name) "Black Beauty", "Pink Floyd". Then there's some I can't mention 🤭.

Thought I would throw out a few gift ideas we have here at Rescued Treasures. The first and easiest is a gift card. They don't expire and they don't have to be used in one visit. The greenhouse is full of yard and home decor. For the he shed, she shed or we shed. Put together a little gift basket with hot cocoa mix from Harry & David, scone and dip mixes etc... I had to include a few pictures with lights out but keeping the light up trees and figurines, it was so pretty. We also have some Christmas earrings to compliment the ugly sweater😄. What's new this week?? We managed to upcycle a couple pieces of furniture this week. We have a rolling kitchen cart, a beautiful tall boy dresser and a nice functional bench with storage. I also have a few of the Christmas themed decoupage paper and transfers available. So if your wanting to make a special personalized gift, we can help.
