Parker Cemetery, Adopt A Veteran
Please join us in honoring the Veterans, laid to rest in The JS Parker Cemetery. You or a group can choose to adopt a Vet's gravesite.
Stop by to visit them on special dates; Birthdays, holidays, dates of their passing. Flowers, silk or real allowed There is no "cost" to adopt a Vet's gravesite. The time commitment is whatever you'd like it to be, you can visit as often as you'd like. We have ordered an Eternal vase for each Vet, to make leaving flowers a little easier. However, you can place silk flowers directly in the ground by using the stem.

Happy Labor Day weekend to all. Just a reminder as you're cleaning up your flower beds and lawns at home, don't forget to stop by and check-in on your Vet. Pick up any scraps of paper or debris and freshen up the flowers. We'll meet again as a group for Veterans Day to place flowers on all the grave sites.
Looks great, Denise Bathe Kullman 🇺🇸
May we walk in the memory of those who forever hold the burden of our freedoms. Raise a glass and whisper a name, so they may live on forever.

Memorial Day is less than 2 weeks away. It’s the perfect time, to stop by and visit your adopted Veteran
Hello everyone, Just a note about the upcoming Memorial Day holiday. Flags will be placed at all Veterans gravesites, by a local Boy Scout troop. Please free to take flowers to your “Adopted Veteran” if you’d like too.
I have been absent for awhile, due to several health issues. But Remain committed to our Veterans, and honoring their service to our country 🇺🇸 We still have a few Vets left for adoption. Thanks for all you do !!
Thanks to everyone for coming out today to “Spring clean” our Veterans headstones 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Hope to see everyone at the Memorial Day ceremonies
Update: I’m in the hospital and will be unable to attend on Sunday. If you’re planning on going, remember only water, and a soft cloth can be used to clean the headstones . Looking forward to honoring our Vets for Memorial Day 🇺🇸
Time for a little Springtime clean-up !
We won’t be gathering as a group until April. Please feel free to stop by and pay your respects over St Patty’s Day 🍀🍀🍀
“Valentine’s for Veterans”
Please take a moment to visit your Veteran this weekend
❣️❤️❣️❤️❣️❤️❣️❤️❣️❤️❣️
Great idea to add flowers to the wreath. It’s just beautiful, good job Monica Eckdahl ❤️
You did a great job , Christopher Douglas Swenson !
Just an idea… When you pick up your floral vase from the cemetery… maybe try and decorate the outside, so you know it’s yours or put the Veterans name on the vase , so we can try and keep track of all of our vases. I’ve just had another person say, her vase was missing from her Veterans grave. We’ve had several disappear 😞
Good morning to all , Just a reminder to pick up your Vets flower vase before the end of the month. We purchased them, for your use throughout the coming year.
We’ll have a few Teen volunteers that will remove all remaining vases af the end of the month.
I’ll post our next group event, after meeting with the cemetery Mgmt representative for 2022 planning.
I’m hoping everyone had a wonderful holiday season and wish you all the best in 2022 🎉
Thanks Amanda Ball for taking the time to straighten up the wreaths blown away from our recent wind storms ❤️
Jocelyn Rhymer had perfect timing, visiting her Adopted Vet along with a few Parker deer 🦌 Just like the deer on his headstone ❤️
Great job, Julie Winkler 🎄
