The Chaparral Baseball family mourns the loss of former freshman coach Matt Signorelli, who tragically passed away this past Sunday. Matt was an integral part of our program during his time at Chap, passionately teaching our freshman players the game, the life lessons that come along with it, and helped lay the foundation for their high school careers.
From the minute he joined the program, Matt had immense pride in being a Wolverine. He loved all of his players, his fellow coaches, and the program as a whole. For him, each tryout meeting was a display of sincere optimism, and each banquet speech was a true celebration of his guys and their accomplishments, no matter how large or how small. Matt’s passion and energy will be greatly missed in the Colorado baseball community, and our hearts go out to his family.
If you would like to support Matt's family a GiveSendGo has been setup by Hitstreak, where Matt was an instructor and a coach: https://www.givesendgo.com/coachsig.
Parents, join us for a meeting to hear about the plans for Chap Baseball this school year, including winter workouts, volunteer opportunities, and more.
Mark your calendars for the Homecoming Parade!
More information coming soon. Permission slips will be needed to ride the float.
