Dear friends and customers, a very sad moment has come. Mango will be closing its doors this Friday May 28th.
We are leaving with a big knot in our throats, with a broken voice , and our eyes full of tears, but proud of all the beautiful moments and memories that we built with all of you.
These past 12 years have been a blast and a privilege to be part of the community and serve you.
We are taking lots of beautiful memories that we will cherish always!

This chapter is ending but a new one will start. Mango is not saying goodbye but we will see you soon. Stay in touch with our page and hopefully, sooner rather than later, we will have news of what is to come!

PSA - please check on your friends and family in the restaurant industry today. We are not ok. Here are some things to consider:

1) We are not simply out of items because we don’t know how to order properly. Manufacturers cannot keep up with the demand of states opening back up so quickly. And it’s not as simple of “just going to store and buying it”. It doesn’t work that way if we want to keep our guests safe, and we certainly do. If we are out, it’s because we simply cannot get it right now.

2) We are understaffed. If one more person says “well why don’t you just hire more people?” Wow. I have been in this business for 10+ years, why didn’t I think of that? 🙄. If there were people to hire, we certainly would. We set up about 16 interviews a day to get 1 person to show up. The struggle is real. We are working on it.

3) “ I see all these open tables, so you are clearly not busy”. Oh I assure you, we are busy for the 2 cooks, 1 bartender and 2 servers that showed up today, because they are exhausted. I will seat what my team can handle, because they are only human and can only deal with so much. I will not run my team into the ground to make a buck.

We are exhausted, we are stressed, we are just as frustrated as you are, if not more.

Please be kind!! No one wants to run their business this way, but we are doing what we can with what we have. Please be patient while we work through it.

Oh and anyone that wants to make a negative comment on MY post, your one of them ..
