General information
The FRRM created the Model Railroad Division in March 2014 to bring to fruition much discussed plans to create a display car for permanent location at the Parrish Station. This new Model Railroad Division (aka MRD) will create displays documenting Florida railroading history with emphasis on Manatee and Hillsborough Counties.
It is intended that these displays will both educate and entertain visitors to the FRRM. Additionally, we will be taking a recently acquired mobile model train display to various functions and venues to promote the Museum and it’s new Division.
