We've found that it can be quite the party & such a lively gathering depending on where you go. 🎊

We learned that, in Tagalog, All Souls Day is called "Araw ng mga Patay" or "Day of the Dead". 🪦💐

It’s AAPI Heritage Month AND Mental Health Awareness Month, & I fu***ng love & appreciate the space I’m in. ❤️‍🔥 For the longest time I was the youngest in the room, the only brown person, the only woman, & more often than not, literally & physically the smallest lol. It’s been 14 years since I started this adventure of failing forward. The ups have been high, the downs have been low, but through it all, my small business has been my baby. As a differently-abled human with my own ridiculous brain chemistry, I see the world a little differently, but that’s what makes my work unique. I can create in ways that most others can’t (even I myself believed I couldn’t), & that’s what I’m celebrating in spite of it all.

But let’s be real for a hot minute. Being a BIPOC & AAPI founder is tough, & mental health is no joke. As we honor Mental Health Awareness together, I want to remind you to take care of yourself. As a small biz owner, it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle. Take breaks, go for a walk, call a friend, & give yourself a pat on the back every now & then. You’re doing great, sweetie. 😘
