Visiting Thailand this time around was full of enlightened adventures with strangers to lovely times with family and friends. Perhaps loosing his mom last year seemed to connect Joey even more to the sacrifices of his mother and family to be privileged to come to America. With every encounter to funny adventures Joeys connection from the taxi driver to the street merchant just seemed to resonate and I got to see a different person. One that was proud to connect to the kindness and gratitude of Thai people, his people, him.

It was a wonderful journey down memory land and blessing to enjoy all that we did. These pics are just a tip of the fun adventures and I can’t wait to come back, not to mention the dollar goes along, long way here!! Cheers amazing Thailand and beautiful people.

Had a wonderful opportunity to refresh my blonding skills at the stunning new campus, with international artists . On this day 16 years ago, I took the plunge and ventured into my own salon. Really to find a extended family that I could share my passion for hair with. Throughout these years I've had amazing people come in and out of my life, I'm just so blessed and honored to have this opportunity to continue to guide these young stylist grow into amazing, talented stylists themselves. The gratitude I feel for you all and all of our amazing guest is endless, I appreciate all the support. Special thanks to my family my for believing I could do this, I love you so much!!! Since May 2011, you have been the most loyal and supportive team member. You truly are one of the kindest and patient souls that I have every met. I thank you for your dedication as our OG of team Tangles. You have grown into the most amazing stylist, friend, wife and most importantly mother to little Sam. The next journey takes you to the east coast where your next adventure starts. These are just a few photos of many that mark so many years of amazing education and the building of some of your favorite people. We've missed you so much! Great news - we are reopening this Friday, finally and prepping to get the salon ready for your return. We have sent out an important email blast with the mandated guidelines and expectations, please look out for it.

Please be patient with us as we are working double time to get everyone scheduled. Priority will be given to those that had appointments cancelled; our wait list and new requests. The health and safety of our guests and staff is top priority. Amid the growing concerns around coronavirus, we are taking additional steps to be extra vigilant. This is an evolving situation and we are monitoring it closely to ensure all proper precautions are being taken to ensure everyone feels safe coming into the Salon.

Our daily cleaning procedures are already very thorough, however given the current situation, we are elevating our cleaning practices to keep our salon a safe and welcoming space for you our guest and staff. This will include increasing the frequency of cleaning the waiting area, stations, retail area, bathroom, and our styling equipment. Antibacterial and antimicrobial cleaning solutions are being used and daily deep cleaning of equipment is taking place.

We encourage all guests to follow these best practices to help keep yourself and others healthy:

Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after visiting the restroom; before eating; after blowing your nose, coughing, sneezing or touching your face

Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands

Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then discard the tissue in the trash

Utilize the hand sanitizer wherever available in the salon
Keep disinfectant with you

Greetings everyone. For those of you coming to the salon in the next couple of days, we would like to suggest coming into Old Town earlier in order to find parking. As you can imagine, it has been very busy with people Christmas shopping and dining. We also recommend that you download the free parking app called Passport Parking so that you can charge parking to your credit card at any coin meters should you not have any coins.

This is a stressful time of year, so please be careful when you are out and about; and dont forget to be kind to other people. We look forward to seeing you.
