For the first time in 3.5 years, we will be hosting an in-person winter recital in our Green Street building. There will be live performances as well as video projects to watch. The Noteables choir will be performing at the end of the program. The program is about 1 hour long and all families are welcome to attend! Masks required please. See flyer for details. Today marks our last day in our beloved building on Lake Avenue. It's been an incredible journey filled with memories we'll cherish forever.💕

Our excitement is soaring as we prepare to embark on a thrilling new chapter! Our doors will open tomorrow August 1st in the heart of Pasadena, at our new address 118 S Oak Knoll Avenue. Enjoy a sneak peak of our new space!

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our amazing friends, clients, and supporters who have been with us every step of the way. You've made this journey truly special, and we can't wait to share this next phase of growth with you all. 🤗

It is with great sadness that PCDA announces the unexpected passing of our beloved colleague, Jorge L. Renteria. Throughout his four years with us, Jorge was not only a dedicated member of our team but also a cherished friend to many. His vibrant spirit, unwavering dedication, and warm smile brought joy and light to our days, and his absence leaves a profound void in our hearts.

During this time of mourning, our deepest condolences go out to Jorge's family and loved ones. We understand that some of you might wish to pay your respects and bid farewell to our dear friend. A private ceremony will be held in Jorge's memory on July 19th, 2023, in the San Fernando Valley. If you wish to join us in honoring Jorge and celebrating the joy and inspiration he brought to us all, please reach out Jennifer A. at [email protected], who will provide you with the necessary details.

Let us come together as a community to remember and celebrate the extraordinary life of Jorge and the enduring impact he had on both our professional and personal lives. Although his absence will be deeply felt, we will forever carry his memory in our hearts and minds.

We need your help! Please support legislation to make all kinds of evidence-based care affordable in CA by calling Governor Newsom.

You, your friends, and your family can call at 916-445-2841 or email the Governor of California to say, "I support SB 562 for equity in insurance coverage for therapies for autistic people."

Detailed instructions:
1. Call Governor Newsom's office to express support at 916-445-2841. This number is staffed between 9 am and 5 pm. When you call you will be asked which bill you are calling about, your position (i.e. support/oppose). When you call you will be asked if you want to continue in English. If so press 1. You will then be asked if you want to speak to a representative. Press 6. Finally, you will be asked if you would like to record a message. Press 3. When the recording starts, state your name, your zip code (if you live in state), the bill number (SB 562), and your position, (i.e. you support the bill).

2. Email via link on his website to contact him (https://govapps.gov.ca.gov/gov40mail/). When you reach the page you will be asked for your name and your email address. Check “Have Comment” and use the pull down menu “Please choose your subject” to reach “Legislation Issues/Concerns”. Once there, check “pro” then leave a message. Make sure you give the bill number (SB 562) first then you can leave a brief reason why you support the bill. An example could be something like: “I support SB 562. It will allow thousands of families to get access to evidence-based care for their autistic children.”
